<image:title>Project Blog - Our Second Nature: Color, Sound Design, and Finishing for Sustainable Fashion - Spring: Home Video Nostalgia</image:title>
<image:caption>This Super 8-style video documented a day at home—preparing coffee, reading the newspaper, sitting in the patio. The 16:9 landscape format retained the Super 8 frame, and we mixed natural sounds (birds, wind) with acoustic guitar. The challenge was making everyday moments feel cinematic without losing the raw, candid quality of a personal home movie.</image:caption>

<image:title>Project Blog - Our Second Nature: Color, Sound Design, and Finishing for Sustainable Fashion - Fall/Winter: Earth-Friendly Beginnings</image:title>
<image:caption>The first project set the tone for our collaboration. This collection featured OSN's first capsule made with 100% organic GOTS-certified fibers. The brief emphasized "quiet and considered" with "light and carefree" movement. We focused on pair shots showing both models interacting naturally, incorporated nature textures (rocks, grass, shadows), and used melodic acoustic guitar that felt thoughtful rather than lo-fi.</image:caption>

<image:title>Project Blog - Our Second Nature: Color, Sound Design, and Finishing for Sustainable Fashion - The Brand</image:title>
<image:caption>Our Second Nature is a thoughtfully designed clothing line rooted in sustainability and mindful living. Their collections celebrate natural fabrics, timeless silhouettes, and the stories of the women who inspire them. Each season tells a narrative—whether it's reconnecting with memories through their Spring 2023 "Stories From The Estate" collection or embracing organic ease with their GOTS-certified pieces. The brand's aesthetic is distinctive: light and natural, capturing organic movement, with careful attention to color grading that favors warm, film-like tones with subtle grain. Their videos aren't just product showcases—they're intimate glimpses into lifestyle moments, shot with a documentary sensibility that feels personal and authentic.</image:caption>

<image:title>Project Blog - Our Second Nature: Color, Sound Design, and Finishing for Sustainable Fashion - Pre-Fall: ASMR Intimacy</image:title>
<image:caption>This three-video project showcased our most experimental sound design. The teaser went almost entirely ASMR—footsteps, water pouring, subtle white noise, no music. The collection video added acoustic guitar but kept natural sounds prominent. The personality feature included voiceover from the model discussing her morning routines and what grounds her. Each video told a different story while maintaining cohesive visual and sonic aesthetics.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The kids line brought higher energy—candid moments with children, poolside splashing, craft sessions. We added camcorder-style warmth and grain to evoke nostalgic family videos, mixed upbeat indie music with natural laughter and chatter, and incorporated zoom effects for that authentic home video feel. <image:title>Project Blog - Our Second Nature: Color, Sound Design, and Finishing for Sustainable Fashion - Spring: Stories From The Estate</image:title>
<image:caption>This project centered on OSN's collection exploring reconnecting with the past through treasured memories, letters, and correspondence. We incorporated lifestyle moments like writing letters, looking through stamp collections, tending flowers, and mailing letters. The color grading emphasized warm tones to capture the feeling of blossoming in Spring.</image:caption>

<image:title>Project Blog - Our Second Nature: Color, Sound Design, and Finishing for Sustainable Fashion - Summer: Elevated Architecture</image:title>
<image:caption>This marked a shift toward more "elevated ease"—still natural and organic, but with attention to architectural details and space. We experimented with two color grading approaches: one with film grain matching previous videos, another retaining crisp digital footage but moodier. The brand ultimately chose to maintain their signature warm, grainy aesthetic.</image:caption>

<image:title>Project Blog - Stellar Energy + Hitachi Energy: Success in Action - The Experience</image:title>
<image:caption>Working with Hitachi Energy for the second time in six months reinforced what makes repeat clients valuable. The team knew our process, trusted our creative approach, and had confidence we'd deliver footage that met their exacting technical specifications. The coordination was seamless. The shoot stayed on schedule despite the tight one-hour filming window. We captured everything needed—the eight question responses, some additional b-roll of Marco in the space, and beauty shots for editing flexibility. The relationship has continued to grow. After delivering the Power Consulting footage in February and the Stellar Energy testimonial in July, Hitachi Energy has become one of our most valued corporate clients—the kind of partnership where both sides understand expectations and deliver consistently.</image:caption>

<image:title>Project Blog - Stellar Energy + Hitachi Energy: Success in Action - The Story</image:title>
<image:caption>What emerged from the interview was a compelling narrative about what partnerships should be in the modern energy sector. Marco described visiting Hitachi Energy's transformer factory in Zurich and being inspired by the "passion and tenacity" of the team. He talked about Stellar Energy's need to move beyond transactional relationships toward true collaboration—partnerships built on trust, transparency, and the ability to co-invest in solutions the world needs. The conversation covered everything from the strategic benefits of Vision Partner status (access to Hitachi's full portfolio, dedicated support, enhanced market credibility) to the tangible commercial opportunities on the table: integrating Hitachi's transformers and grid automation solutions with Stellar's EPC capabilities, expanding into high-growth markets across the U.S. Southeast, Texas, and the Middle East, and accelerating modular energy solutions for data centers and industrial clients. Marco repeatedly emphasized speed as a differentiating factor—"time to first megawatt" as the new critical metric. In a world where heat waves and AI-driven power demand are pushing grids to their limits, the ability to deploy reliable, dispatchable power quickly matters. The partnership enables that velocity.</image:caption>

<image:title>Project Blog - Stellar Energy + Hitachi Energy: Success in Action - The Project</image:title>
<image:caption>Stellar Energy isn't just another partner in Hitachi Energy's channel program. As a Vision Partner, they represent the highest tier of collaboration—a relationship built not on sales volume but on shared ambition, strategic alignment, and a commitment to co-creating sustainable energy solutions. The testimonial video would position both companies as leaders in their respective fields while telling the story of what modern B2B partnerships can look like when they're done right. The brief was straightforwardg: capture Marco Sanchez delivering eight different talking points about the partnership, from the strategic rationale for becoming a Vision Partner to concrete commercial opportunities in data centers, LNG, and power generation. The final video would be a 3-4 minute piece matching the style of previous Hitachi testimonials—Marco speaking directly to camera, professional but authentic.</image:caption>

<image:title>Project Blog - Stellar Energy + Hitachi Energy: Success in Action - Make it stand out</image:title>
<image:caption>Less than six months after filming Hitachi Energy's Power Consulting video, we got the call to return to their Raleigh headquarters for another testimonial shoot. This time, the stakes were higher—we'd be capturing the story of Hitachi Energy's first-ever "Vision Partner," Stellar Energy, and their Chief Advisory Officer Marco Sanchez would be speaking directly to camera about what makes this partnership a game-changer for the global energy transition.</image:caption>

<image:title>Project Blog - Just Women's Sports: Beyond The Game Roundtable - Why This Matters</image:title>
<image:caption>Women's sports is at a critical moment. The WNBA is breaking viewership records, the NWSL is thriving, and athletes are finally getting the recognition and compensation they deserve. But it took generations of players fighting through failed leagues, bouncing around the world, and building something from nothing to get here. This roundtable captured that evolution—from players who remember when "one man and his dog" showed up to games, to witnessing sold-out stadiums and national media coverage today. These are the athletes who stood on the shoulders of the '99ers and built the foundation for current players to thrive.</image:caption>

When revisions were needed—adjusting graphics for readability, extending hold times on important text cards, finding better musical transitions—the feedback was specific and constructive. The team understood their mission and their audience. They knew they were competing for donor attention during an unprecedented global crisis, and they articulated clearly why this cause deserved support: because helping Haiti reforest is helping the entire planet address climate change. <image:title>Project Blog - Raising Haiti Foundation: Changing Our Planet One Tree At A Time - The Organization</image:title>
<image:caption>The Raising Haiti Foundation partners with the Smallholder Farmers Alliance (SFA) and the Parish Twinning Program of the Americas to support sustainable development in rural Haiti. Their primary focus is the Tree Currency Program—an innovative social business model that addresses Haiti's severe deforestation crisis while empowering smallholder farming families. Haiti is one of the most deforested countries in the world, with devastating environmental effects. The SFA's Tree Currency Program works by having farmers volunteer in tree nurseries, and in exchange they receive farming tools, training on improved farming techniques, and access to seed co-ops and animal sharing programs. Farmers who participate increase their income by an average of 50%. The concept is elegantly simple yet transformative: make trees worth more alive than dead. By creating "tree currency"—credits farmers earn by planting and maintaining trees—the program breaks the cycle of deforestation, low agricultural productivity, and poverty that has plagued rural Haiti for decades.</image:caption>
    </image:image>

<image:title>Project Blog - Raising Haiti Foundation: Changing Our Planet One Tree At A Time - The Program's Impact</image:title>
<image:caption>The video highlights the remarkable scope of the Tree Currency Program. Farmers earn tree credits that can be redeemed for agricultural training, crop seeds, farming tools, and livestock. Women from farm families gain access to microcredit loans for small businesses. The program also provides university scholarships for rural high school graduates studying agronomy, veterinary medicine, and business—preparing future professionals who return to their communities to assist in local wealth creation. The environmental impact is equally significant. Trees grown by farmers serve multiple purposes: fruit trees for farms and orchards, living fences, and reforestation of deforested slopes to reduce flooding. Near the city of Gonaives, farmers have reforested large tracts of community land that will eventually be connected to form the first green belt of its kind in Haiti. Perhaps most importantly, the program revives community traditions. "Kombit" is a Haitian Creole word referring to farmers coming together at planting and harvest times to share the workload. One farmer explained it best: "We now work together for the common good and I care about the community as I care about my family."</image:caption>

<image:title>Project Blog - Counter Culture Raleigh: Celebrating the Cheese Community - Production</image:title>
<image:caption>We arrived at The Raleigh Wine Shop at 8:00am for an 8-hour shoot covering presentations from seven speakers, attendee interactions, product tastings, and the networking buzz that makes these events valuable to the industry. Our two-camera setup allowed us to capture wide presenter shots and audience reactions simultaneously, while our condensed lighting package gave us the flexibility to move quickly through the venue without disrupting the intimate atmosphere. The production brief was detailed: extreme close-ups of cheese textures, over-the-shoulder shots of mongers preparing samples, candid moments of discovery as attendees tasted new varieties, and testimonials from speakers and participants about what makes Counter Culture events unique in the cheese industry. Audio was critical—we used shotgun mics and lavaliers to capture clean sound from presenters while also grabbing ambient audio of the bustling tasting table and small group discussions. The Raleigh Wine Shop provided the perfect backdrop. The architecture, the warm lighting, the wine selection—it all contributed to an inviting atmosphere that encouraged the kind of authentic conversations these professionals traveled to Raleigh to have.</image:caption>

<image:title>Project Blog - Counter Culture Raleigh: Celebrating the Cheese Community - Why This Project Matters</image:title>
<image:caption>The artisan cheese industry in America is experiencing a renaissance, with small producers creating world-class products that rival European traditions. Events like Counter Culture are critical infrastructure for that growth—creating spaces where knowledge is shared, relationships are built, and the next generation of cheesemakers and mongers find inspiration. Culture Magazine is leading that charge, and we're grateful they trusted us to document the Raleigh chapter of that story. Working with the Culture team was seamless—they knew their vision, communicated clearly, and gave us the creative freedom to capture the authentic moments that make event videos compelling.</image:caption>

<image:title>Project Blog - Counter Culture Raleigh: Celebrating the Cheese Community - The Story</image:title>
<image:caption>What struck us most about this event was the genuine passion on display. These weren't just industry presentations—they were love letters to craft, terroir, and tradition. Caroline Hostettler spoke about Le Gruyère's 900-year history and the journey from Switzerland to becoming a cheese importer in the U.S. Portia McKnight from Chapel Hill Creamery discussed sustainability in North Carolina cheesemaking. Mike Sosik from Rogue Creamery shared 25 years of industry wisdom. Between presentations, attendees gathered around the tasting table—a spread of charcuterie, accompaniments, and, of course, cheese from every presenter. The conversations were nerdy in the best way: debates about aging techniques, comparisons of terroir influences, excitement over discovering a new favorite variety. As one attendee told us on camera, "I just had a Stilton that blew my mind. The cheese is so good." The event embodied what Culture Magazine set out to create—not just education, but community. Cheese mongers who typically work alone in their shops spent the day surrounded by peers who speak the same language, share the same challenges, and celebrate the same craft.</image:caption>

<image:title>Project Blog - Hitachi Energy: Showcasing Power Consulting Excellence - The Project</image:title>
<image:caption>Hitachi Energy's Power Consulting division solves the energy industry's most complex challenges, conducting detailed technical and economic studies from early network planning through operations. They needed footage that would present them as a dynamic, forward-thinking organization driving sustainable energy solutions—and they wanted it to feel cinematic, not corporate. The brief was detailed: five employee testimonials shot with teleprompter and multi-camera setups, extensive b-roll showing the collaborative office environment, and drone coverage of their Raleigh facility. The technical specifications were equally precise: 4K resolution, a flat color profile for maximum post-production flexibility, and a shallow depth-of-field aesthetic throughout. Most importantly, they didn't need post-production—just pristine footage delivered on a hard drive for their European agency to edit.</image:caption>

<image:title>Project Blog - Hitachi Energy: Showcasing Power Consulting Excellence - Why This Matters</image:title>
<image:caption>Corporate video production at this level is about more than just capturing footage—it's about understanding how images communicate organizational culture, expertise, and values. Hitachi Energy's Power Consulting division is helping solve the energy transition challenges facing utilities and grid operators worldwide. The footage we delivered needed to reflect both the technical sophistication of that work and the human collaboration that makes it possible. The cinematic approach—shallow depth of field, careful composition, professional lighting, stabilized camera movement—elevates corporate video from functional documentation to compelling storytelling. It's the difference between showing people at desks and showing a team of experts advancing a sustainable energy future.</image:caption>

<image:title>Project Blog - Hitachi Energy: Showcasing Power Consulting Excellence - Make it stand out</image:title>
<image:caption>When Hitachi Energy reached out in January about a corporate video project, they had a clear vision: showcase their Power Consulting division as both a strategic planning partner for energy solutions and a destination for top industry talent. What started as a straightforward production request turned into one of our most rewarding corporate projects of the year.</image:caption>

<image:title>Project Blog - Hitachi Energy: Showcasing Power Consulting Excellence - The Result</image:title>
<image:caption>The final footage was delivered via external hard drive to Hitachi Energy's European agency, who cut it into a polished four-minute video showcasing the Power Consulting team's expertise, diversity, and collaborative culture. The video lives on Hitachi Energy's social channels and corporate website, helping position Power Consulting as both a strategic partner for customers and a destination for top industry talent. From the technical specifications to the cinematic aesthetic to the human element, every frame served the larger goal: presenting Power Consulting as leaders in advancing sustainable energy solutions. It's the kind of work that reminds us why we do what we do—helping organizations tell their stories in ways that matter.</image:caption>

<image:title>Project Blog - Hitachi Energy: Showcasing Power Consulting Excellence - Production</image:title>
<image:caption>We shot over two days in February at Hitachi Energy's Raleigh headquarters. Day one focused on the five testimonial interviews, day two on b-roll and drone coverage. For the testimonials, we created a setup that balanced professional polish with authentic personality. Each subject stood in medium frame, speaking directly to camera via teleprompter while a second camera captured a side angle for editing flexibility. The key was using different office environments—hallways, conference areas, open workspaces—to add visual variety while maintaining the cinematic look Hitachi's European agency requested. Three-point lighting setups, shallow depth of field, and careful attention to background composition ensured each frame had depth and dimension. The b-roll day was about capturing the human side of Power Consulting. We filmed colleagues collaborating over computer screens, conference room meetings with genuine engagement, quiet moments of focused work, and candid interactions by the coffee area. Professional stabilization kept everything smooth and steady. Close-ups of hands on keyboards, focused expressions, people walking and talking through corridors—all the visual language that communicates expertise, passion, and collaboration. The drone coverage established context, capturing sweeping views of the facility and surrounding Raleigh landscape. These establishing shots would bookend the video, grounding the story in place while emphasizing Hitachi Energy's global reach with local presence.</image:caption>

These images, tailored for online shopping, gave buyers an up-close look at the watch, adding to its appeal. We optimized the photos and videos for a 9x16 vertical format to ensure they’d pop on social media while providing high-quality assets for product listings and promo materials. <image:title>Project Blog - Man On Fire - Bringing the Project Together</image:title>
<image:caption>The production process was collaborative from start to finish. Working alongside director Joel Fendelman, the goal was to ensure that every element of the film, from the candid conversations to the atmospheric B-roll, reinforced the documentary’s themes. Balancing the logistical and creative demands required a disciplined, adaptive approach—whether coordinating multi-location shoot days, setting up for on-the-fly interviews, or adjusting schedules to accommodate participants’ needs. Man on Fire became not just a documentary but a platform for opening difficult conversations about racism, justice, and the power of individual acts. Through careful planning, trust-building with participants, and a commitment to capturing the story’s emotional and visual depth, the film came together as a moving portrait of a man’s life and legacy.</image:caption>
